What bothers me, is what is shown in these results; that Nvidia cards are optimised for 4K. 1440p suffers, and that's a popular screen resolution. The attitude that 3090 and 3080 (1440p weaker performance) should not be for 1440p gaming, is rubbish. Nothing quite like owning a powerful graphics card that will last years. Having the 1080 Ti, I know first hand. It's played everything for me maxed out that I have bought. (Except Metro: Exodus.) Only a new few titles like Cyberpunk and RDR2 that it won't max. I will buy them later then, when we can finally buy a new GPU. It's been a pleasure to own a 1080 Ti though, over the last 3.5 years. Hence why 1440p gamers want the Nvidia top end cards to be optimised for 1440p also. Then we can max the most demanding titles. I kow there is always AMD for 1440p, but it means getting anew monitor too. Am locked to Nvidia by the generation of my g-sync.
Holy smokes! Pair one of these with an 11900K, do some OC and it'll trip your kilowatt PSU.
Yeah!!!.... Science! 2021 April Covid Mining Pricey Boom... RX570 Nitro+ for $200AUD... AVG Price at any other time in history... 1340Mhz stock, 1480Mhz OC, about stock RX580 Performance.. pretty happy, as its for 1080p Low to Medium Esports.
Hi Guys, decided I was getting a 5600x after this video. Been super happy with it, performs so much better then my i5 8600k. I have one question though, I have a X53 AIO I re-used for my new cpu and while it cools amazing at load (max 68 degrees) I noticed that in idle it goes at 45-50 degrees, not lower. Frequency seems stuck at 4600mhz. Does anyone else notice this? and could a higher idle cause any harm in the longer term? Have set custom profiles for pump and fans.
imagine being a 2080ti owner 🤮🤮🤮 all my homies have 30 series cards
Right now it's a different story i3 10100f + b560m is best budget gaming PC for 2021...
It's hard to waste money on GPUs, wishlisting out of stock products is free.
So you spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars investing in eco-friedly home appliances with A+++ rating. Then you spend hundreds (possible thousands) of dollars to undo it all for paying ransom price for GPU and electricity bill for running those technological marvels while sitting in awe how realistic the forest looks like in AC: Valhalla. Nice going Nvidia and AMD:)
IMO they should not release any more new gamer cards for while, rather focus on software-driver side, optimization, DXStorage, DXUltimate12, Resizeable BAR, DLSS 3.0, etc
Average frames per watt please
More like $450
11400f is rubbish versus 10400f and is not worth the overpayment. The king of budget assemblies remained 10400f
Which one CPU is better, 10700f vs 11400f. Price difference is less than 80$ in my country. senewss.info/slow/idurfK5zqNOyhZU/video in this video i7 is better in everything, but on others videos i5 is winning, and i7 doesnt have pcie 4.0. Can someone explain me which cpu should i buy and why.
Hey can you please review asus vg27aql1a?
After 2 years later they add 3 more games supported game list still too limited i hope they will add more game soon because this feature almost amazing
wow AMD really got Intel to lower the price of their products :o
Fantastic work from AMD, now all they have to do is: - have a partner manufacturer that will build them into premium devices - actually have ANY of these cpus available for those laptops to be built Two almost insurmountable obstacles it seems
looks like an MSi laptop
I'm pretty sure the Kaby Lake CPU was worse than this.
Awesome video, really helpful, was deciding between the Asus TUF and the gigabyte board went with Asus. Have not been disappointed yet!
SUP RIM X - That'll trigger them so bad they'll never send you another one. And to really get the GOAT 3090 you need a Kingpin :-D Even on just the AIO cooling, they're pretty amazing.
I grabbed a Sapphire RX6700xt from Overclockers for the ridiculous price of £699 last week . However, I sold my bios flashed RX5700 for £630 the next day (I assume for mining), so it was only £70 to upgrade. It’s actually a big upgrade at 1440p. In “normal” times I would probably have had to pay about £200. It’s all crackers but if you already have a decent card you can come out ok.
vro im getting my 1030 low profile gddr5 2gb for my broke ass sff pc :/
My Ryzen 7 5800H boost’s to 90 watts in performance mode. Is that normal?
can I use 10400f on B560 Motherboard and use ram at 3200 clocks or it will be locked on 2666mhz? do I need specifically 11400f for it to run 3200mhz on ram.
Please do this research for the 2021 model as well. I noticed some changes to the new one.
I'll donate Colgate Optic White.
Hey dudes. I noticed that you test with memory compression still enabled in windows. By disabling memory compression I got rid of micro stuttering and (I'm only guessing) improved the 1% lows. This was on systems that had ample memory. Have you done any testing comparing the systems with memory compression enabled vs disabled?
I can tell ya all right now, hate on intel all you want. But I am returning my AMD 3950x setup because it is very unstable, stutters and drivers suck. HP Reverb G2 won't connect to X570 board. I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO GO BACK TO INTEL AND CANT WAIT. I have built PCS for 20 years, never will I get another AMD setup. I always went Intel and never had any issues with their systems.
I'd just max out at a 3080 with a nice air cooling solution. The 3090's are just power hogs and I can't justify that much expense just to make it run.
TL DW: This monitor sucks , it's a blurry mess
My ASUS VG24VQ Curved Edition 1080p 144Hz, 1ms works flawlessly with my RTX 2070
I would rather get a 10700kf or 11700kf. Or wait for the 5700x/5700
Is this Pro WS X570-ACE is good with ryzen 9 5950x or msi x570 unify is better for 3d modeling and rendring work
So glad I copped a 5700 XT Nitro+ at $400 shortly after it released (it's literally about $1300 on ebay right now wtf), hopefully it'll last me until things go back to normal.
There is nothing quite like playing games on an ultrawide like this. Nothing.
Any thoughts on the Acer Nitro XV272U Vbmiiprx 27" ?
The rx 580 2048SP was a scam too 😪
this monitor is so hard to find!!!! my only choice right now are the Asus VP249QGR, MSI Optix G241, and HP X24iH. HELPPPP!!!! Will only use it for FPS console gaming.
Retailers have now jacked up the price of this card to $1,080 USD. Not like anyone can get one at the moment anyways lol
I'm tempted to buy a 1440p monitor, but usually it is a $140 difference with a 1080p 144hz monitor, and as someone who is just starting to build my own gaming set-up, that $140 can be used to other gaming peripherals like a decent headset or chair.
I have a RX 480 and these new cards are terrible value for money. All they care about is making profit at your expense. Rich get richer syndrome.
....and when it came out, the 5700 XT Liquid Devil was an exorbitant $799 US, IIRC. Cue Archie and Edith singing, "Those Were The Days"
Nice video. Both of these cards are examples of the respective companies trying to pad their bottom lines while the supply is so constrained. From their own financial point of view I'm sure they feel good about it. From a consumer point of view just like you said it's stupid and it makes me a little angry. The ugly part of is those cards will still end up selling even with those insane prices. smh
i rather buy Alienware desktop R12 series and pull out the GPU's from it. at least i more spare parts xD
"You will be able to buy the 5900x.... easily". Sweet Summer Child.
WHY IS THERE NO PUBG BENCHMARK? PLEASE MAKE PUBG BENCHMARK!
Z590 motherboard review please
A heads up to any potential purchasers. The monitor will briefly black out intermittently using g-sync compatible. However, if you download Custom Resolution Utility and change the freesync range from 48-166hz to 50-166hz it fixes the issue. I'm not sure if all the monitors have this firmware issue, but it's fairly common if you look at reviews.
Well my 2080 ti founders smoked in a month sitting idol. And my 2nd 2080 ti founders smoked during a zoom call. So if the 30 series ( sic imaginary bullshit 30 series ) does NOT catch on fire its a step up. Im going radeon in 2045 when gpus exist. But for now 256 gigs of ram and an amd threadripper using a geforce 220, although the fan bearing went bad so now im waiting on china to get me a 45 mm fan... FUCK BITCOIN
Why can't I find xmg apex 17?
how bout the xg2705?
Odyssey G5 34 for 470€ or Millenium md34 pro for 460€ ?
That Mustache tho🔥
Please review aorus fi27q-x
MSI put the picture of their GPU upside down on the box. What idiots!
Liquid Devil is a good card for the ones with a custom loop, 3x8pins onboard and a decent water block.
@Hardware Unboxed Well, in Russia, Saint-Petersburg, it's ~2100 USD, which is kinda OK for Covid/crazy mining times.
It's a fantastic card, it's just a joke at $2500 US.
It's $290 now : )
I would be very happy of next review of a budget 1440p 144hz 21/9
my suggestion please add an esports titles csgo, valorant, etc for thank you.
what the point of i5 11400F or latest 11gen for budget ,where you don't have usb type c usb for example hard drive(ssd) networking new features and etc.? tnx advanced
LG 38GL950G-B Not cheap but amazing monitor.
I'm really wanting a new 21:9 monitor to upgrade from my 5+ year old Acer X34 to pair with my 3080, but don't want to spend over $1000. Preferably less, but I'm not sure if the $400-600 VA panels would necessarily be an "upgrade" even if they're 144hz if the response time and therefore ghosting may be worse than the X34's 100hz when they're running at 144hz. The Asus PG35VQ would be ideal, but at $2300.... No thanks, but I'm not sure another 44hz is really worth an upgrade until 200hz 21:9 panels may be more common and affordable.
Hmmm... They're a bit shit then - Thanks for that 👍
Lenovo is trash. Always
just watching not going to buy
Pls under 100 dollars options?
Compare the suprim x to the ASUS ROG strix 3090
Synopsis of the review: How do I shit on this thing and move on with my life as fast as possible. At least run the fucking FPS benchmarks at 1440p next time.
@Hardware Unboxed I am interested in something that does realistic bus saturation - and 1080p isn't it. Run draw-call heavy engines like Anvil or Unreal at 1440 or 4k - and see which CPU comes ahead. That would be more interesting to see than multicore rendering benchmarks - which are clearly going to reign supreme with AMD. And F1 always favored AMD for whatever reason. To you credit you didn't clamp Intel to 4000mhz like that other guy did to tell his brain-dead audience that AMD does more ops per clock. Yikes.
Why are you interested in GPU benchmarks for a CPU review? That doesn't exactly tell you which CPU is faster for gaming. That data is important for CPU demanding sections of games, or upcoming games that will be more CPU demanding.
i have seen in like no benchmark videos the game tarkov ever why? its a really good game to test some cards it isnt the most optimized game but thats why i wanna see if a better card will do anything
Why does no one talk about or review Fast Sync on nVidia gpus? I had an HKC 34" UW 1440p @ 100Hz, and it flickered while using g-sync. When changed to Fast Sync the result was buttery smooth with no tearing. It does make your video card work harder but provides an excellent experience. Fast Sync works on monitors that are not freesync or g-sync compatible. Be sure to turn v-sync off in the game and fast sync on in the driver.
I would love to see a video where you guys see the performance difference of integrated graphics between Intel and AMD APU's with Radeon VEGA graphics.
how to waste viewers time in order to make money is the proper title for this... gone in one minute for this fail
This is what are world is resumed by, shitty people.
Moi j'suis un fier conservateur, allez tous chier mes p'tits gauch'tards
This situation is made worse by rampant libertard policies in effect across the world
