  • @legitstreetcars who did the headwork? I'm building an LY6 for my tahoe, not sure if I want to use the heads that are on it or my stock 799s. I'll definitely want to get either set cleaned up.

  • Speaking of titles, could you please explain to us non-americans what a title is and how you get one, what salvage, clean etc all means?

  • Throttle wide open for a compression test , to compress air , you need air.

  • As I'm watching the beginning, and I see the SUV in question appear for the first time, I'm thinking "oh cool - you got a free GC". Then I saw the inside and thought, "you might have overpaid on this if it cost you to ship it"... then you said how much you paid. You definitely overpaid. But then again, the used car market is stupid right now, so I don't know? **edit** Got to the 6:30 point - ok fine. The used car market is in stupid overdrive, and people are paying a lot for these old tanks. Good to know. I'm watching either way, just shocked at the priced I'm seeing. Love me some restoration work either way. :)

  • If someone was shot in the car then it becomes a biological concern and they will total a car for bodily fluids.

  • That black grand Cherokee srt had a bullet hole in the center of the tailgate, that’s why it was totaled maybe?

  • I remember at an Autozone when I was buying something for my car some guy boasted about his 5.9 to an audience of aloof zombies asking what engine was in his "1999 Cherokee." At least the guy got some appreciation from me.

  • Come on stop the f ing around.

  • Now don"t show this to Scotty Kimler, he'll lose his shit "But but but it's not a Toyota it's a Mercedes so it's shit right right?"

  • "It's just straight up mud..." Yeah, you keep telling yourself that. 👍🏻

  • Hey man great vid always nice to see inside those top notch dealers and if I may ask how come you stopped working there being a mastertech at Mercedez you probably made good money

  • I think you need to get glasses, bro. You missed a LOT of stuff on these cars. Stuff that is super obvious.

  • Someone probably already said it, and I suppose it goes without saying, but before tossing any of those tools, make sure that the reason they won't run is not just that those GFCI outlets you were plugged into were tripped! Check them on a known good outlet before tossing them!

  • Dude.... That limited.... LOOKS used and abused, but I think it's nice-ish 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • If you find a crashed Nissan Versa do a video of it

  • So i work as an auto appraiser for an insurance company, some of the vandalism and stolen vehicles are totals if the vehicle has been gone for over a month. Or if the vehicle was stolen then recovered over 30 calendar days later, the insurance company will just settle the loss to move along the claim. It's funny how then always show back up soon after the claim has been settled.

  • Why would u dump it in the car?

  • I credit the first performance suv to the Ford Expedition svt thunder. It took the engine and suspension from the svt lightning and could do a sub 14 second quarter mile while carrying 8 people. But it was never made because of timing.

  • ITS THE SECURITY SYSTEM. ZJ’s HAVE THEM. IF YOU DONT PRESS UNLOCK ON THE KEY FOB IT WILL CUT FUEL AND VEHICLE WONT START

  • Congrats buddy come a long way , excited for coming content

  • Just straight humble content

  • I found a rat in my basement

  • Do you think it’s your fuel injection

  • Why did that yellow check engine light come on during the first boost test drive?

  • Waste gates operate on a pressure signal actually, not vacuum actuated, however some do have dual pressure signals and no spring, like Tial high performance ones but you need a computer that can control the boost using Two 3way solenoids one to open and one to close the waste gate

  • Waste gate also has a vacuum diaphragm and a small actuator shaft to the turbo, it can possibly be disconnected

  • My guess is there's a pressure sensor and a vaccum solenoid on the waste gate vacuum hose, also,,,

  • You didn't need a fancy machine for that test, a simple hand vacuum pump can check the waste gate actuator and hose for leaks
