Sadly not many people in japan understand how great the achievement is I'm one of them though. Which is harder to win Masters or Balondor?
There's a loud silence.
First thing I notice is the silence. There's no roar the same when Tiger is on the course.
Saw him at The FedEx St Jude in 2019. Big hitter
I'm so proud of him as a Japanese! Thank you from Tokyo.
he won?...those seemed like alot of strokes
He can’t put to save his life
隣国がいつもネチネチ日本の悪口言ってきてうざいけどさ、 もう一回誇りをもってパワフルに日本を動かしていこうぜ。 俺たちで。
I wish it showed where he was in relation to the leaders with every shot
One of the most boring Masters ever! I don't care who wins. I want excitement and a dramatic final 9. This year was lame
Did you see where BIDEN congratulated him on his Masters win? What an incompetent joke of a president...🙄
Japan killed millions of east asian every centuries.
Yup, the theory is right, there’s always a Asian better than you
Congratulation Hideki! First Asian winner in Master! You are setting a dream for many Asian youths! Just like Seri Park.
Great job Japanese BOY said commander in Thief Joe Biden
Brilliant highlights package 🍻 Nice job Mr. Matsuyama. 🍻👍🏼👍🏼
松山はいぶし銀だ Matsuyama is Ibushi silver
"That Japanese boy" - Cho Xiden the potato President.
4:14 amazing shot

👋👋👋 thank you for your vlog 😊
Wow, he got my swing style
Congratulations! This is great news for not only Japan but also all golf players in the world.
watching this makes me think I could've won that...
@Tootspogs Forever even you had a chance!!
in your dreams loserr!!!😀
Hinako Shibuno 2019 Hideki Matsuyama 2021
even though I know he won, I was still nervous watching this
how did he win? seems like he had a lot of bad shots
you have to watch the 3 rounds prior to this where he played great. the last 7 holes waa just a case of too much nerves and adrenaline.
Should have more of these, "every shot from..."
Lonnie smith was an old black man who grew up near Augusta and told me all the terrible stories of racism he had to endure when he was a caddie there. He was a great man who wouldn’t let me give up on the game and I am forever grateful to him for that. I love the game but hate the racist culture. He would have loved to see this. I love and miss you father and Lonnie, I hope you are golfing together in heaven.
This is worse than the Pga channel But I do like the shot count thing
From an American 🇺🇸. CONGRATS JAPAN 🇯🇵
Wow very clean swing i like it very much
Asia NO.1 Japan 🇯🇵 Corona birth place China 🇨🇳
man great job but gotta say zaratori did amazing
Congrats to Japan from Korea!
Augusta was playing fast like a links, which was bobby Jones's original layout. He's worth a shout at the british open if the weather stays on his side.
I know the masters has to do everything different but could they plz put his relation to par and not just the shot total on the bottom of the screen
8:44 someone saying "It's the Masters" ... nonetheless Mr. Matsuyama managed to win. Congratulations, very well deserved!
All right. Congrats on the win. But lets wait and see if he measures up to Arnie, Jack and Tiger before we grant him GOAT status. Just saying.
They didn’t explain much details about what happened 10 years ago when he played as an amateur at Masters so allow me to share this story for those of you who don’t know. It was only a month after the tragedy of earthquake/tsunami hitting northern part of Japan. Hideki, as a student going to college there, wasn’t sure if he should participate in Masters leaving the people under such distraught circumstances. His life was also not back to normal, only eating cup noodles everyday and losing weights. Finding out his hesitation, people in Sendai had started sending him letters with encouragement to participate in Masters and go after his dream and not worry about them. They also told him watching him pursue his dream would give them hope and courage they need to strive for the future. They say the letters amounted to be about 4-inch thick. With that, he decided to play at Masters for those people who pushed his back, so he wore the shirt with 🇯🇵 embroidered and brought all of the letters to Augusta National. The result was the top finish as an amateur. He responded to their voices and their hopes with his clubs. Many people had lost houses so they watched him play at the shelter or even in a car. This year was the 10-year anniversary of 3-11 in Tohoku. That’s why it was even more meaningful for the people in Tohoku area and for Hidemi to win at this time. He said he was able to change (step up as a golfer) because of those people pushing his back to get there 10 years ago. Anyway, thank you for reading this much if you are still reading it.😅 Also, thank you so much for all of those kind, heartfelt comments towards him and Japan🇯🇵. While Asian hate exists, it’s so nice that we can all take a break from those non-sense on the golf course. You guys rock!!!😘❤️💕 Also, Japan thank you for your support you have shown us towards 3-11 tragedy. 🥰 Wishing you all the best and happiness from a Japanese golf fan.🇯🇵💕❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
@06watta Thank you very much for reading it.☺️🙏
@Charissa Nomdeplume Aw...I’m glad you liked it.☺️🙏
@Chopper Fok Thank you very much.☺️🙏
That is such a beautiful story.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful story. It gave more depth and happiness to his win and this video.:)
What an amazing achievement for a Japanese national to win The Masters for the first time in history! Also, did you know Japanese genes come from thousands of years of cannabis sacramental and agricultural use? Japan Shinto priests used to use it in ritual. I think that's why mainly the rai reason Japanese people are so unique. Ps. I'm half Japanese, so I feel it. And I activated my hidden DNA software by using cannabis and tapping into my cannabis heritage! Lol Hideki Matsuyama is next level!
I'm sure Asics will be giving him more money for advertising than his Masters win. Sales will be going through the roof to obtain that brand.
Matsuyama, well done. Just well done. You let your game speak for itself. No BS. No fluffs. No drama. Just pure game.
He didn't win it, Schauffele lost it. Totally wimped out on the final three makeable putts. Any men in your family?
Well done, although he really didn't play that great. His chipping and putting saved him. I was disappointed nobody made a run at him..
he essentially won it on Saturday. then just held on for life but still played decent enough in the first 13 holes.😀
Well ESPN, he is not black, but at least he is not white, right? Nice job, Hideki.
finally no dubstep music over audio
Meh.....not exactly outstanding.
Was he playing with a range ball at one point??
Wonderful! A win for Matsuyama. For Japan. For all Asian golfers. And for the global growth of golf.
He is very powerful through hips and torso and steady as a rock on puts which you need on that sloping billiard table .
