  • You asking a coach whose team has gotten beaten down twice to Bama to give you a game plan to beat them. That is a joke in itself.

  • I'm pretty sure a #1 defense in college football can slow down Alabama.

  • Kelly, once again, getting it wrong.

  • All I can say lmao 😂

  • you greenie are so full of hot air.....kelly lost to alabama..badly and no matter the hype beat ohio state badly...it grinds in your craw alabama does not approve of your opinion.....which you drag him down at every turn....

  • Here’s the sure fire way to beat Bama. Out recruit them, out develop your players, out coach them, and you’ve got to have a dynamic qb who plays the game of his life; otherwise, Bama is likely going to win.

  • Typical ESPN idea of value - ask a born loser how to beat a team that just beat him again. What a bunch of idiots.

  • Hey Brian, how did that work out for you.

  • Yeah uh... Looks like Brian Kelly was exactly right after watching this game. Ohio St. let up more points at halftime than ND did all game. With that being said Alabama is just too good this year and the best offensive team in college football in a long time. No team could beat Alabama this year.

  • Where are the OSU fans dissing ND? You guys can’t even stop a cold tonight.

  • What a coachspeak non answer. Forget the “long, sustained drives, running the football” nonsense:: the goal of the Ohio States offense - like every offense - is to score as many points as quickly as possible. It’s up to their defense to stop Alabama’s offense and coach wasn’t talking.

  • Why didn't he do that himself?

  • How this man going have the blueprint when he's the one that lost Alabama sometimes things just don't make sense to me!

  • ?? The dude that just lost to them??

  • I laugh when people say “to beat Alabama you need to do this one thing...” They are way too good for you to be predictable and still effective. Which is why nobody has beaten them. But when they are playing well, Ohio State has all of the offensive weapons to be balanced. And it’s going to take that.

  • Hummmm...Are they talking about the same school that stays loaded with 5 star quarterbacks and players? Are they talking about the same school that beat bama before with a 3rd string quarterback ? Hummmmm... Are they talking about the only school to have a 2 time Heisman trophy winner? Put some respect on our name when you talk about " THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY" To all my Buckeye fans can i get a O-H-

    • Big words from an osu bafoon before Bama put some respect into that osu (omitting “the” and putting it all in lower case). osu fans act like they done something in the last 18 years or so. One natty and a bunch of bad losses in the CFP. An osu team that loses to an unranked team badly almost every year in recent memory. osu fans might just shut up so that their team can maintain the little dignity they have left.

  • Lmao.... that's I'm gonna say...lmaoooo

  • Coming from a guy who got the screws rattled out of him? Ohio State and Alabama are on the same level and both will blow out Notre Dame at least 9 out of every 10 meetings. Even the best don't win everything. But the bottom line is, is that this dude just got manhandled and wants to try to tell Ohio State how to beat Alabama? Again, you got destroyed. Ohio State and Alabama would destroy you pretty much any day. You don't belong in the playoffs. Get out of here. As far as Ohio State goes, they stopped Alabama before, they can do it again. They don't need anyone. Notre Dame is overrated.

  • how does one give advice on how to slow down alabama if they didn't slow down alabama

  • 🍿 for the comments and OH BABY

  • I think people forget that Day coached in the NFL before so he faced elite teams lol

  • This won't be a close game.. Ostate 52, Alabama 35

    • Buckeye want to rephrase that ? 52-24

    • Bama ain't going down easily mate. Trust me. I'm a Buckeye. Everyone should know this is gonna be big. I don't see anyone blowing out anyone. Big game, big points, somebody's gonna get lucky with the game-winning interception. Me personally, I hope it's Ohio State. But good luck to Bama.

  • Really? Has Brian Kelly ever beat Alabama? That’s like asking Hannibal Lecter how to be a vegetarian

  • They were missing Manti Tao

  • What fool would follow advice from Brian Kelly about slowing Alabama down? That's like getting advice from Kanye on how to run a successful presidential campaign.

  • He didnt know how to do it great job of finding someone to talk about this

  • He doesn’t know what he’s talking about he lost

  • That is a joke that a coach that got his but kicked is giving advice? Who's stupid idea was that? Oh I get it- from Notre Dame makes him an expert 😜

  • Bama by 17

  • Stayed tuned for next segment where Jim Harbaugh will let us know how to beat Ohio state.

  • You know you're thw goat when they try to plan against you....ND ESPN Florida ECT ECT

  • No no no, dont listen to Kelly.

  • Lmao we want no advice from notre shame!

  • In the second half sure, they could have put up more points if they wanted to. But Saban was very frustrated in the second half because Alabama was struggling to run the ball. If osu can contain najee and win the second half, they could have a chance to win.

  • Soooooo I think I wanna take advice on someone who actually won

  • This man talking like Bama didn't just run the clock out the last half of the game to get out as soon as possible and without any new injuries

  • Let’s ask antelopes how to defeat lions next. Alabama called the dogs off on Norte Dame, Brian. They were bored with ND.

  • Only people to beat bama is cam newton Johnny football and Joey burrow and a kick six, Trevors win was a total fluke. Ain’t no blueprint you’re not beating bama

  • Kelly talking about beating Alabama is like listening to Tim the Toolman telling Wilson how to look over the fence.....

  • If OSU defense can match up against Bama’s offense they will have a shot...if Bama keeps scoring then it’s all on the offense to keep up and outscore them...it’s whoever’s defense shows up will win 👍🏼

  • ND is a top 5 team and will most likely make the playoffs in 2021. The difference between Alabama, Clemson, Ohio st is the prospects. Look at any other team that doesn't get any 5 star recruits and see how well they play and perform. Brian Kelly just hired Marcus Freeman as DC and the recruiting has been rising consistently over the past 4 years. People have to just accept bama is in a league of there own.

  • Win the second half....ask Georgia.

  • Like OSU gonna listen to Brian Kelly 😂😂

  • why didn't ND do this?

  • Coming from the guy who’s always wasting the no. 4 position

  • The ONLY blueprint Brian Kelley has EVER had is how to lose a game that's REALLY mattered. Haha. Example; "conference " championships or National College Football Playoffs.

  • Literally only clicked on this video to see the comments

  • Wow he couldn't slow em down 😅🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘

  • The game may come down to special teams, & Bama plays mostly starters on their special teams.

  • Kelly is a good coach & he has the answers. He just doesn't have the players at ND

  • 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 why ask the coach that just lost to Alabama. Bruh this how you know espn is desperate for ratings

  • As an ND fan I can say with certainty OSU just go ahead and do what the opposite of this guy says

  • Win the line of scrimmage . That wins ballgames and slows down offensives. QB can’t do anything when he’s on his back and RB can’t do anything if he is hit at the line of scrimmage.

  • I'm a Notre Dame fan and question who had the idea of asking BK how to beat a team he's lost horribly to twice now. That person needs to be fired. This is cringeworthy. Please BK, just retire already.

  • Bama won the game in the first qtr. And he giving advice -dude stop wasting your time listening to that.

  • So the guy who couldn’t stop Alabama is trying to say how to stop Alabama!

  • Asking Brain Kelly how to slow down Alabama is like asking a retard how to slow down Alabama...

  • Lol, like he has any idea.

  • They asked BRIAN KELLY, "How do you win the BIG ONE" ? Good grief

  • One Party now controls everything... Spoiler: it’s not the inclusive one.

  • still a coward for leaving UC before their bowl game against Florida.

  • Ohio State already knows how to beat alabama, coach day and urban meyer in the bunker now!

    • @Billy Britt osu has a losing record against bama and that was before the 2021 title game

    • Heard that anthony, I was just throwing that out there 😂 gonna be one helluva game, team make the less mistakes gonna win this one, just hope is not decided bye a bad call!

    • And Clemson “knew” how to beat last years Ohio State team, how’d that work out in this season? What idiotic logic, the game played years ago has no bearing today.

  • Nothing like advise from someone that lost badly.

  • And Brian Kelly is qualified for this because...why?

  • Glad to see someone showing mac the respect he deserves

  • Jones is as mobile as a tree stump, put pressure on him and Waddle will be a non factor.

    • @Michael Clarkthat was the best lol

    • @Daniel Bowling No, the Buckeyes have the best O-line.

    • We have the best oline in college mac will have time

    • Has any team done that this year?

  • And Brian Kelly knows what exactly, about beating Bama? As for our first sub 35pt posting in almost 2+yrs? Not sure that was Kelly caused.

  • I would not trust a single thing this man has to say on this topic

  • Should we be asking the dude whos team just got clapped by bama

    • BAMA has been battle tested this year. All SEC schedule and have endured through explosive defenses as well as offenses not to mention staying focused and healthy through out the 2020 COVID-19/political distractions. Eye of the tiger! Bama pulls off...wins by Atleast two maybe 3 touchdowns. ROLLTIDE 🐘💨 🙏🏿=🕊🔥

    • 😂 right

  • Is this guy serious. ND got a scaled back version of what could have happened and that was still a blow out

  • He’s the last person that should be giving advice on Post Season Games 👀🙄🤣

    • Isn't he a coach????? That's just unintelligent! Didn't he just play them? So unless he doesn't have a brain he can give a rational and educated ways on how to POTENTIALLY beat them. I guess we shouldn't ask Chuck Barkley anything during the NBA finals because he hasn't won a title. Please stop

  • Alabama this year is one of those teams you can’t slow down. Your offense has to keep up, and then hope you can win those clutch drives in the 4th quarter.

  • Brian Kelly can't coach Notre Dame to a National Championship so what makes him or anyone else think he can coach another team to win it.

  • How do you ask a man how to stop a team he never be never beat who is taking advice from this guy Notre Dame need to go ahead and fire him there I said it

    • Are you serious???? Fire him and get who??? Since 2017 ND has the fourth highest winning % behind Bama, Clemson, and OSU. Tell me how often do those three teams lose???? Not often. In case you didn't know it ain't easy getting in to that institution....you have to take "real" classes sir. Also he's a coach, so you don't think a coach can look at the film and make an assessment of how to POTENTIALLY have success against Bama????? Please stop man.

  • Hey, it kinda of sounds like all of Notre Dame, OSU, and ESPN are ganging up against one team because they are either tired of them winning or don't want them to win this ballgame.

    • U must forgot the last time the buckeyes face bama they won assclowns u must was sleep pissing on yourself or drunk or all the above ain't nobody hating on Bama dam bama

    • @AA Michaels Yep, and I bet you won't see or hear ESPN talking about how Alabama could beat OSU. You never hear that type of talk.

    • Yeah cuz ohio state beat bama last time they played. Lol yup its a conspiracy.

    • Yeah cuz ohio state beat bama last time they played. Lol yup its a conspiracy.

  • Asking Brian Kelly how to slow down Bama is like asking a fish to breathe air

  • I don’t think ND fans realize Alabama just chewed the clock and ran the ball the whole 3rd quarter basically. Like Alabama could have put up 50 if they wanted too

    • Saban usually bombs them for a half and then grinds it out. They basically got all they needed from Smitty.

    • I'm just thankful that Sark got that outta the way during that particular week. No disrespect to Notre Dame at all, but I would rather have a distraction in that game rather than this one

    • Yes sir

    • @vCookinSzn Exactly

    • 50 is being modest more like 100

  • im just here for the comments Lmaoooo

  • is this headline actually serious? or is this sarcasm?

  • Why would anyone listen to a guy who repeatedly gets blown out by these big teams? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  • Seriously!? Brian Kelly? Ask Mark May or Lou Holtz if you can’t find anyone to be on your show for gods sake.

  • Okay, now all my Buckeyes have to do is the exact opposite of what this dude says.

    • ND lost by 17 Ohio state lost by 28 yep he didn't take the advice 🤣🤣🤣🤧🤧🤧🤣

    • I think I’d be more confident if he wasn’t the guy offering the advice

    • Im a Notre Dame fan and I'll tell you he's the last person I'd go to for advice on beating anyone in the top 5. 🤦

    • Agreed

    • 😂

  • Saban literally slow walked that entire game... ND didn’t belong in that game (as usual)

    • @Dru Music they held bama? Lol stop smoking crack. Bama shut it down before the half .

    • Well they held Bama to there lowest points all year and lost by 17 Ohio state just got walked OVER and lost by 28

    • @Mustard N Biscuits And what makes you so special? LOL

  • See Brian is just a boring coach if this is his way of beating anybody. Who wants to watch someone run the ball all day?

  • Not Brian "the big choke" Kelly

  • Yeah right, like you're allowed to talk about how to "Slow down" Alabama Brian Kelly. Wasting time by huddling up is NOT the strategy needed to beat Alabama, seeing as how your strategy of wasting time FAILED MISERABLY.

  • LOL, Brian Kelly’s plan was to allow Alabama to get way ahead and put in 2nd stringers THEN make a one late touchdown comeback 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    • Lol

  • In your dreams!!!Alabama whole team is heisman contenders

    • Clarence Walder i’ll be waiting 😂

    • If that's the case then their no way Ohio state wins this game. I will come back monday and see when they win

  • Run the ball and limit their possessions. Wow, most arm-chair fans know this. No wonder Kelly gets steam-rolled every playoff game.

    • @Freddy Cooks International SoulFood I think what we're saying is the best way to stop their offense is to keep them off the field.

    • long story short🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️the ball and keep Bama offense off the field.. Except, I'm excited to see them wrec Havoc on the field!!

    • I think I would be considered an arm-chair fan🤔 although, I'm not even really sure what that means, but I would say you'd need to pressure Mac Jones and TRY to beat the edge, but if you put too much focus on the edge and on Mac, then Najee is going to run it straight down the middle and you still have to do the impossible of covering Devonte and Metchie, but then you still got Billingsley out there running loose Billingsly and if Jaylen Waddle is really able to play 100%, then I really don't know what to tell you cause you still need to account for Forrestal. Somebody is not getting checked.

    • lmfao

  • We don’t need Kelly help they don’t even know how to stop bama or any major school in general

    • they couldnt stop Clemson in ACC Champioship game and look what the Buckeys did to Clemson!!

  • ND didn't slow Bama down , Bama took their foor off the gas and let 2nd and 3rd string play most of the second half

    • @Dru Music you are an idiot go watch the game. Bama could easily score but they didn't need to the irish were no more a threat than a bug

    • @c powell yeah and OSU last points where between 6 and 7 minutes in the 3rd Alabama was up 45-24 half way through the 3rd.... ND atleast was putting drives together in the second half OSU at no point in this game scored more than 10 points in a quarter, OSU lost by more points because the offense managed to get shut down for the last quarter and a half and the defense ranked 59th nationally in yards allowed and 43rd in points while ND ranked 25 in yards allowed and 14 in points. Next point ND still managed to outgain Ohio State because of how bad osu was in the second half ND managed 375 total yards, converted 50% of there 3rd downs and was 2/3 on forth... couldn't finish drives. OSU had 341 yards, completed around 40ish% of 3rd downs and 0/2 on 4th down. Again the reason ND was so successful against Bama is they held on to the ball just couldn't punch it in and it showed with +8 minutes TOP compare to OSU AWFUL -15 You will rarely beat Bama by giving them a whole extra quarter more of time against you... they only raked up 437 yards against notre dame before gaining 621 against OSU...

    • @Dru Music Yeah, and they scored with 56 secs left in the game. Bama was in neutral and didn’t open the playbook because they knew ND couldn’t match them. Look how they kept scoring on OSU because they knew Fields had the potential to score.

    • @ThatFalloutGod yeah you're right it had nothing to do with ND having the ball for almost 34 against 26 minutes compared to Ohio state 22.5 against 37.5

    • @Arden The drive right before halftime made it blatantly obvious that Saban and Sarkisian wanted to just milk the clock and end the game. The second half was almost entirely running the ball and doing so with random concepts that didn't work, so I can only assume Sark was trying to see what he could and couldn't get away with in the next game with Landon Dickerson not being on the field. Seriously, this was the most blatant milking of the clock I can recall, so it's bewildering to me when people say otherwise.

  • Ask Brian Kelly how to interview for a head coaching job in the NFL when you have previously stated that the university you are the head football coach of is your dream job.

    • sounds like Saban in his flip flopping between college pros and back to college!!!

  • Why are you asking this guy how to beat anybody in a big game??? 🤦🏻‍♂️

  • Isn’t it technically cheating if they watch this video?

    • Yes, because all Ohio State has to do is do the complete opposite of what Brian Kelly says and that'll give them a huge advantage.

    • no more than Indiana's DC, wommack, who took the South Alabama HC job, offering advice to Alabama on the Buckeyes and even stating ...."in effort to return championship to state of Alabama"!!!.....and Wommacks defense gave up over 600 yards to the Buckeyes!!

  • Brain Kelly ain't got the answers

  • ND didn’t slow Bama down. ND quit competing when they punted when the score was 21-7 and Bama coasted after that. Alabama can basically name the score if they want. OSU will have to be aggressive to win.

  • Asking Brian Kelly how to beat Alabama is like asking France how to win a World War

    • With all due respect The Americans gave Germany the capability to become the military machine they were. Professor Anthony Sutton explained this in great detail. It is amazing how the media has never reported on it. But then again they represent the people who financed Hitler and sent companies like General Electric there assist him.

    • Well he did better than Ohio State did this year 😂😂🤧🤣

    • Are you a buckeye fan? You guys can’t even stop a cold tonight.

    • @College Football Frenzy 😂😂

    • @D G ND won the first game because they had significant players missing on defense. Both QBs for Clemson played equally.

  • Haha cause he did a great job with his own game plan last week 😂😂😂😂

    • @Ivan Fidalgo 52-24 says otherwise

    • @grant carney they never held bama, saban went into clock chewing mode before halftime.

    • @Justin A yes but the difference between top 5 and top 10 is huge by the time you get to line top 6 they might have a 5 star top 10 means you have a lot of 4 stars and some 3 stars I mean how many 3 stars does Clemson or Alabama have like 4 combined Alabama and Clemson are getting the top recruits from their states and every other state

    • @Big Daddy incorrect, Notre Dame has a top 10 team regarding collective recruiting talent.

    • @grant carney there seriously has never been a team that could score over 40 on this Bama team AND hold it to 31 at the same time. There’s possibly been defenses good enough to do that, but there hasn’t been a single team with both the offense and defense to do it.

  • “Slow down” what about to win?

    • He plays to lose not to win.

    • "Slow down" is the most he can hope for against a marquee team.

    • Yezzir

  • Asking this dude how to stop Bama is like asking casey anthony how to watch your kid
