  • Beach'n 😂😂😂

  • Lovely

  • What can you say? I guess movies help make these things plausible for is to accept in "real time." If you believe for one moment this has tactical enemy value. I suggest you look closer to home. Too much cost for outside use.

  • This is art

  • Lol how long did it take after that test for all its limbs to rust off and the electronics to pull a blue screen of death?

  • Beach blanket BigDog! He needs a Hawaiian shirt. Can't wait till they post PETMAN riding the waves and hanging ten.

    • I don't think wearing a Hawaiian shirt in Thailand would be a good idea.

  • It looks like two people hiding in a cardboard box and one is walking backwards

    • it looks like two drunk people in a bad dire wolf costume.

    • it looks like two drunk guys carrying a couch

    • Mole yeah there probobly trying to make people think there not going to take over the world. :)

    • It is called advertising.

  • When you have robots, who needs humans? Who needs animals?

  • Love it. I'm gonna remember this primitive bot. :-)

    • +Ostrich160 Look at Spot, the new one. Jesus, I love this company.

    • @Ostrich160 it is :-) just take a look at the last prototypes.

    • +PLATOON72 I'd hardly call it primitive

  • Aww so cute

  • "I live in Boston Massachusetts, though I like the warm a tad better. I enjoy hiking, jogging, and long walks on the beach. I can carry 340 pounds of equipment and rations while simultaneously recovering from walking over rough terrain or climbing over tough inclines. I was programmed to be kick proof and was intended for the U.S military to use for transporting troop supplies but they said I was too much of a talker. Did I mention I'm a robot?" -Big Dog's E-Harmony profile description

    • @Cerese and I have a cousin called Spot, little shit's now famous.

    • "PS: I'm also a quadruped and I have a son named LittleDog."

  • some bright green flares would look good on it.....perhaps fishnets for tropical hols

  • Boston Dynamics are an ethical company, every year Big Dog gets to choose a holiday destination and gets three weeks away from getting kicked..... remember Bog Dog has a big heart, respect Big Dog if you see it sun baking on a beach near you......OK

    • "bog dog"

    • My first instinct when seeing it in person will be to kick it full force

    • Be careful though, he doesn't use a leash ;)

    • I'll give him a big hug

    • +Simon Harris hahaha

  • this is cute

  • He looks like he's having so much fun c:

  • I think it's nice that they took him on holiday.

  • beautiful

  • Please Remember that This is Now Owned By The Go0Gle Corporation! And The Y0uTube your watching it on

    • +Jason blank I read somewhere that they don't want to do anything with military, even refusing their funding.

  • very cool, but can it cook?

  • Note the disarming music. Now imagine it with a fucking terminator soundtrack over the top.

    • Yeah whilst it's playing at the beach with a vulcan cannon strapped on it's back....

  • You'd get very attached to it. I would, but then I anthropomorphise my car - and my dog is a person.

  • 귀엽다ㅎㅎ

    • @가나 다행이군요

    • @조강현 다행히 아직까지는 잘 살고 있습니다

    • 안녕하세요 살아계신가요?

  • Apparently robots like to play in the water too.

  • If they made BigDog submersible, everyone pray for our lives.

  • Big Dog is SCREAMING for an AT-AT costume! you must! :P

  • Sell these to amazon please. I want packages delivered to my door on one of these.

  • And here we see the spawn of satan taking its regular morning swim. Don't get too close it may get loud.

  • The first images of the BigDog I've seen were in this video. I kid you not, I thought that I was seeing two guys dressed in black, bending and carrying something. Then, it struck me...

    • know what you mean.. reminds me of when I used to deliver big screen tvs back in the day

  • they took it on a seaside holiday? only scientists

  • what's 'it' doing in thailand? spending holidays?

  • Até o robô vai na praia e eu aqui, igual um palmito --'

  • en otro video de boston dynamics me aparece como wildcat

  • How much does one of these cost? How many donkeys could you get for that price?

    • @***** how long would a donkey last on a planet with zero atmosphere ?

    • At a guess I would put a minimum cost at about $100,000 to $200,000, could be a lot more. I count a minimum of 4 actuators per leg x 4 legs = 16 actuators. Given the speed and power put a minimum of maybe $5,000 per actuator. Plus the leg structures, cabling, sensors, and other hardware, say $5,000 per leg. Plus the central structure, ultra reliable military petrol engine, and high performance compressor say $40,000. Plus the computer hardware, other electronics, control valves, and so on - $20,000. Add in assembly costs $10,000. That adds up to $K 80 + 20 + 40 + 20 + 10 = $170,000. With full production that might reduce to $120,000 per robot. The actuators are the biggest cost and for Big Dog they are probably either completely custom components or similar kinds to those used on military jet fighters like the F35. BTW I am working in a parallel field - Strong AI but certainly don’t have anything like the kind of funding or resources as Boston Dynamics. : )

    • @Arttyor i dunno i know a guy who could get donkeys pretty cheap and probably wouldn't care about indemnity. Also just a thought but what if we put a robot brain in a donkey body? Again this guy could grow donkey bodies for pretty cheap. Also does horses, llamas etc

    • @bensdad123 You need to pay donkeys constantly. Also, this is way cheaper, since u need to pay indemnity if donkeys die, and that's a lot. So you are pretty much wrong. and very bad with logic.

    • @***** don't get me wrong i think it's awesome. But it seems like a really expensive way to carry gear around when a donkey could do the same thing

  • I am just sitting here watching a robot take a vacation.

  • I want to ride this thing!

  • robot needs vacation too

  • Time to LEAVE THEM ALL BEE-HIIIINDD

  • without the horrifying chainsaw/lawnmower noises = less scary

  • My brain wants to explain this as human legs, 4 years old... W3hat have we now?

  • subscribed!

  • I have seen the Dog before. it still strikes me "off" each time. a combination of the mincing steps and the appearance that the two pairs of legs are facing the wrong direction -- almost like two men facing opposite directions under the mass.

    • Man, now i see same staff. its creepy

  • I wish it could kill dozens of shity persons who don't deserve to live.

  • Aww cute little doggy, fetch the ball.Even big dogs go on holiday :)
