    • Thank you for turning on CC!

    • You’ve not only put a hole in the vapour barrier, you’ve removed the insulation so you’ll get condensation inside the safe.

    • Can you please turn on CC! I lost my hearing a couple weeks ago and I would like to be able to “hear”what you are saying!

  • whats up

  • Bob's origin story is that he never had a dad and dedicated his life to being a cool dad for everyone.

  • In the safe, you should put a card box puzzle like on the back of cereals boxes.

  • do you have any suggestions for good knee pads?`

  • Josh learned the price for breaking into his boss's safe. *edit* the note was labeled "top secret" in a locked wall safe that needs a puzzle solved to get to it. There were enough signs to stay away.

  • 1138

  • i love the cool room they made in the closet but i love this too

  • 0504

  • When I do corners like that I don't do the router technique I actually have a biscuit joiner and I tend to have more luck with that

  • This was one of my favorites...super fun, light, creative. Outstanding portrait, too! Well done Bob and Josh!!

  • Spool of Radio Shack solder. 😄 I've still got about half a spool left myself that I bought years & years ago.

  • When will the kitchen be ready?

  • 1138. Well done.

  • I guessed the 1138, it's in a lot of lucas film movie, cell block 1138, and thx 1138 george lucas' first movie

  • Was the lumber more or less expensive than the safe? Neat project!

  • the safe codes out after three failed attempts and needs to be opened with the key behind the plastic panel next to keypad

  • 1337?

  • Plot twist: it was a video actually firing him.

  • Pat&Mat :-)

  • Is it NASA Oh I thought he said it ended in A not 8

  • I know it’s just for fun but you’d need a better wiring system cause you could easily look behind there and unwrap one of the wires

  • I wonder if he’s gonna use it to store stuff or if it was like just a for fun project to see if he could. I guess we’ll never know

  • do americans put safes... in DRYWALL?

  • Bob's most Resident Evil project to date

  • I would love to see you guys try and make a pair of wireless speakers using some wireless earbuds

  • Here I was expecting some kind of Wind Waker private oasis puzzle that when solved allows it to be "opened" in order to get to the safe behind it.

  • The part when josh tries to move the painting the and the painting of bob is just staring at josh like is this the best you can do. it’s perfect

  • Hahaha my guesses were 4242 or 2001

  • 0000a

  • as soon as the "mild shock" appeared I thought about Michael Reeves. He'll probably just make a shoking only sistem and an "hej buddy" mp3

  • This is such a good idea. WOuld be better if the pattern were made of metal though, because someone could just pull and break the 3D print. All for fun though. Cool project!

  • Such a fun project!

  • Fun little project. I thought the code was going to be 1337 !

  • My guess is 0504!

  • Removing the insulation to put that safe in a exterior wall is a terrible idea. The difference between the interior conditioned air and the exterior air is likely to cause moisture/mold issues.

  • My guess was "1234", 'cause of Spaceballs. Looks like I'd still be standing there.

  • Lol I was screaming 1138 at the screen 🤣

  • 628th.

  • Paused at 13:30 hope it is 1337😗😙😗😁

  • I thought he was going to do Spaceballs 1,2,3,4.

  • 1337A thats the first thing I would have tried.

  • I was thinking there is beer in safe.

  • Very fun idea. A real burglar would just rip it off the screws though 😂 but funny to imagine one getting compelled to finish the puzzle. "hello officer, yes I know I'm under arrest but I need to finish this puzzle first!"

  • I think we need a workshop clean/reorder video :)

  • Not bad, the puzzle would frustrate the user as much as the thief so I'd skip that part maybe put it on a hinge so the art swings out and is secured by a latch behind it that is unlatched with a magnet you'd keep on the fridge.

  • CALLLED IT!!! Minutes before, the code was revealed, I thought of a "Nerdy #". and my guess was...... right.

  • I swear, as soon as he said "something nerdy", I shouted "1701" lol. 1701A, the Enterprise from Star Trek

  • 1337 ? is that the combo? I hope the video says it towards the end

  • cool idea, what about putting a floor safe under a trapdoor?

  • Could the number be the The Star Ship Enterprise 1701.

  • tbh, if i wanted to see if there was a safe behind that painting and i couldnt remove it, i would tear it down... but i like the idea of securing access to safe!

  • R2D2

  • The diamond ore in the safe XD

  • Hi

  • Very handy to create for Geocaching ;-)

  • You should make a arcade cabinet for Tekken 7. That would be awesome.

  • I can't believe they did this to actually hold their valuables in and are being totally serious about this project!

  • I'm going to rig all this up over top of the thermostat!

  • Good job on the thumbnail.

  • imagine if you will a hidden beer fridge.

  • If someone bumps the puzzle accidentally, then they know to attempt to get it off the wall. It draws attention to whatever it's hiding. Obviously we know it's only for fun, but IMO the alarm should only go off when the puzzle has made an intentional shift... if you actually want something hidden anyway

  • Anyone else guess 1138?

  • Another vote for selling that portrait. Need one in my shop too!

  • Haha if nothing else this is fun, but it's brilliant and I think it's secure. Not for professionals but why would the oceans crew want your stuff, you're not a casino and haven't ripped them off haha. The sound on that alarms important, effective and subtle Like a chalkboard but not a wee-woo there's something behind here sort of thing haha. The foil thing was also brilliant to wire that. Ah you're always so good with inventions man! Idk how you got that photo, looks like it could be a photo but painting style, interesting man. But, as the owner and maker, I'd like to see how well you do going through all that to get in :') good stuff guys

  • "it's probably 1138" lol

  • 13:35 i think its 1337

  • 1984

  • I saw the R2D2 so I was thinkin they made the code 7232 to fit that when they said it was “nerdy” 😂

  • A real 2x4, really flexin’ on us today ;)

  • As soon as he said the combination was nerdy, i thought 1,2,3,4,5, which is amazing, because I have the same combination on my luggage. Then he limited it to 4 digits though, and I was thinking 1337. I've actually been debating making a secure wall-box with a mirror built into it, but where the pane slides down, along with the the bottom-section of the frame, along drawer-slides, when you release the magnetic latch. I wanted to make one like the one Brad Pitt's character has in the bathroom with the battleship picture in Mr and Mrs Smith..

  • I thought for sure the code would be 1337

  • not so secret now since everyone on the internet knows lol

  • 0504A

  • 1977A

  • It is easier to solder to copper tape fyi. That's what I use for guitar cavity shielding

  • Mwuah ha ha ha!!! I KNEW that was going to be the password 😄.

  • A nerdy PIN for a safe would be 1007 standing for loot, as in all the money in the safe.

  • removing insulation from an exterior wall is against building code

  • 1701A. Guessing

  • "Congratulations, you're fired. Love, Bob" ILTMS t-shirt, please.

  • So that why people say habor freight sucks

  • how long does it take you to do it?

  • as soon as I heard the premise for this video I immediately thought of Resident Evil. not sure what that says about me lmao

  • 1138 was my first guess

  • Very cool idea! I love your creativity! Just one thing, I’m not sure what your climate is like and how cold it gets in the winter months, but by removing the insulation and vapour barrier in that section of wall might cause condensation to form in the cavity. Just want to make you aware

  • Bob, here’s an idea. Make the locking plate a standard length and with. So it goes across the frame. Just be on the LEVEL, when trying to break into the safe.

  • Bob: Even a little electric shock can be very dangerous! Michael Reeves: Let's electrify people on the highest possible level!

  • 1138

  • The second Bob said the combination was something nerdy I immediately thought, yeah he's a Star Wars nerd. xD May the Fourth be with you!

  • 0504

  • When you said the combo was nerdy I though of 1701-A.

  • Thats 1x4 not 2x4

  • You missed the opportunity to tittle this I like to MAZE stuff.

  • ye.. a real burglar would rip that off the wall

  • Wall safes behind pictures? Gold bars? Secret letters? Have you been watching my videos again, Bob (7 Hiding Places)? Just kidding - very fun video though!

  • I was totally blanking on 1138 but I figured since it was Bob it was a Star Wars reference

  • What's the significance of the code?

  • I would simply grab it by the upper corner and rip it off the wall, then deal with the real challenge....the safe

  • There goes the R value of that wall.
